Description
The module features one high-quality relay capable of handling loads up to 250V/10A. The relay module includes an activation indicator LED. Unlike relay modules with two or more channels, this module does not use optocouplers; instead, the relay is activated by a transistor. The module's design facilitates compatibility with Arduino, as well as many other systems such as Raspberry Pi, ESP8266 (NodeMCU and Wemos), Teensy, and PIC. The relay module is an "Active High" type, meaning it activates the normally open (NO) output upon receiving a logic "1" (5 volts, HIGH) and deactivates the output with a logic "0" (0 volts, LOW). For programming relays with Arduino, it is recommended to use timers with the `millis()` function to avoid using the `delay` function, which prevents the system from continuing to operate while a relay is being activated/deactivated.
