SPECIFICATION
69054 Automatic Starter Panel – 3 Phase / 7.5 KW/415V: This panel consists of DOL starter with manual control and control using programmable timer. This panel can be used to study manual and automatic DOL starter using Timer.
Front Panel Details:
- CONTACTOR : 3 phase, 20 Amps Contactor.
- INDICATORS : 16 mm indicators to indicate 3 phase mains supply is ON.
- NO : Normally open contact of Contactor.
- THERMAL RELAY : Thermal relay – 7.5A to 15A.
- ON : Push button switch to ON the motor when the control switch at Manual control.
- OFF : Push button switch to OFF the motor when the control switch at Manual control.
- CONTROL : Switch to select Manual or auto control of motor.
- TIMER : XT – 546 – Selec make programmable timer.
- NO : Normally Open Contact of Timer.
- NC : Normally Close contact of TIMER.
- START : Push button switch to start the Timer.
- RESET : Push button switch to reset the timer.
- FROM SUPPLY : Terminals ( R Y B N) to connect 3 phase ac mains supply.
- TO MOTOR : Terminals to connect 3 phase induction motor.
Procedure:
Connect 3 phase ac mains supply with neutral to the terminals provided on the front panel. Connect 3 phase induction motor to the motor terminals provided on the front panel. Keep the control switch at Manual control position. Switch ON 3 phase mains supply to the unit. 3 phase supply indicators turns ON. Programmable timer also turns on.
Press ON switch to start the motor. Press OFF switch to stop the motor. This is manual control of Induction motor.
Next change the control switch to AUTO control. Connect NO ( Normally Open ) contact of timer to NO contact of Contactor. Programed the timer as per your requirement. Refer Timer data sheet for programming. Press START switch to start the motor. The motor runs as per the programmable time and stops after the time is over. The motor stops till the next cycle starts and this will repeated. The motor can be stopped in between any time by pressing RESET switch. It will start again only after you press the START button. This is automatic control of motor.
